This week, I published an article and a TikTok titled “Against dystopias,” and the TikTok at least got some attention. In them, I discuss the concepts of “hopepunk” and “solarpunk.” Solarpunk is a subgenre of sci-fi that imagines humans living in communion with the planet, rather than actively exploiting it.
