Happy New Year! 2023 was a good year for this little newsletter, it doubled in size thanks in large part to TikTok and referrals from my fellow Substackers. I’m hoping to keep that trend going in 2024, and I’ve got some exciting stuff planned. My philosophy about journalism, stolen from Bill Moyers, is that “a journalist is someone who learns in public.”
